For most of my life I have lived between two worlds. In one, I led pharmaceutical medicine and saw, up close, how powerful — and how reactive — modern healthcare really is. In the other, I competed in bikini fitness at world-championship level, on the stage in Tarragona, where every result is earned through years of discipline in training, nutrition and supplementation. I did not just study health. I lived it. I demanded it of my own body, every single day.

And then I was diagnosed with cancer.

Nothing humbles you like that moment. I had trained harder, eaten cleaner and understood the body better than almost anyone I knew — and disease still found me. What it left me with was not fear. It was clarity: discipline alone is not enough, what we cannot see we cannot change, and medicine too often waits for the diagnosis instead of listening to the quiet signals that arrive years before it.

Coming through cancer, I stopped asking only how we treat disease, and started asking how we measure what is happening inside the body long before it has a name — and how we change it while there is still time. For the past eight years I have devoted myself to longevity medicine, learning from some of the finest scientists and physicians in the world.
